Infrastructure as code usually means infrastructure as YAML, or a DSL that's almost a programming language. But if you already know C#, you already know how to build cloud infrastructure. This session introduces infrastructure as code in plain C# using Pulumi's open source .NET SDK. We'll build and deploy real Azure infrastructure with the tools you already use every day, then put C# 15 and .NET 11 to work so the compiler catches infrastructure mistakes before they ever reach the cloud. That matters more than ever now that AI agents are writing infrastructure code too. A rule written in an agent's instructions is a suggestion. A rule written in the type system is enforced, no matter who (or what) wrote the change.
